In Q2 2022, the top food delivery service applications on the Android platform in Nigeria exhibited varied performance trends. Below is a detailed analysis of the weekly downloads and active user metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Jumia Food: Food Delivery saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at 7.7K at the end of March and experiencing a dip to 5.8K in early May. However, the app recovered to 6.8K downloads by the end of June. Weekly active users peaked at approximately 72.9K in early April but gradually declined to around 68K by the end of the quarter.

Glovo: Food Delivery and More experienced an initial spike in downloads with 11.2K at the end of March, followed by a dip to 3.5K in late April. The app then showed a recovery trend, reaching 8.4K downloads in late June. Active users increased steadily from 23.4K at the end of March to 29.4K by mid-June, before settling at 27.7K by the end of the quarter.
